No. All quotes are free and no-obligation. For most jobs we'll pop round in person to take a look and give you a clear, fixed price. No hidden extras, no "we found more work on the day" surprises.
As a rule of thumb, fresh plaster needs 3–7 days to fully dry out depending on the weather, room ventilation and thickness of plaster applied. You'll see it turn from a pinky colour to a uniform pale beige — that's your signal it's ready for a mist coat and emulsion.
Yes — and it's one of the most common jobs we do. In most cases we don't need to scrape or remove the Artex; we seal, prep and skim a fresh flat coat straight over the top. It's quicker, cleaner and cheaper than a full ceiling re-board.
Both. We'll happily patch a single wall where the old plaster's blown as readily as we'll skim a whole property. No job's too small — and no job's too big for Ian & Mick either.
We cover all of Oldham, Chadderton, Royton, Shaw, Failsworth, Middleton, Rochdale and into North/East Manchester — Prestwich, Blackley, Moston, Newton Heath and surrounding areas. If you're unsure, give us a ring and we'll tell you straight.
